Allana participated for Australia in Rugby Sevens, but then knee injuries caused her to miss several seasons before switching back to Rugby League. Allana made her debut as a woman in the league game against Queensland in New South Wales. Allana also added radio to the repertoire, and she makes frequent appearances in 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana has a lot to offer, not only a sportswoman and a teacher, but has also earned a a degree in education, has an extensive background in other areas. Allana Ferguson enjoys the rare distinction to have represented Australia at three sporting events - Rugby Sevens, Rugby League and Touch. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos athlete who played an extensive period of rugby league was forced to close her playing career before the age of 25 after she tore her ACL for the fourth time. Ferguson was already tearing ligaments in the same knee between 15 and 17, but following the third tear, it was game over for the 25-year-old. Ferguson played the role of JILLAROOS team's player. The decision to leave was due to her fourth left ACL injury.
