Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shankar is a British and American sitarist. She also performs music. She is the youngest female and was the first person to receive a British House of Commons shield. Anoushka Sitar Shankar was the Indian young sitar singer. She is the student of Ravi Shankar as well as his daughter of Ravi Shankar. She was a child who bounded back and forth from London in the UK to New Delhi. At the age of 13 the first time she performed was in New Delhi took place. After moving to Encinitas, CA in 1999 she received the high-school degree. Anouskha continues to have a bright performing and recording careers, even though she's only a teenager. Her father has accompanied her in many performances for some time. In 1998, she debuted Anourag as her first album as a solo artist. The following year, she released the Grammy nomination-winning Live in Carnegie Hall. Since she's performed at all the major stages in all over the globe, her career on stage has been extensive. Anoushka Shakar's career isn't only limited to music. Bapi: The love of My Live is her 2002 book, which was a tribute to Ravi Shankar. In 2003 she starred as a Bharat natyam young dancer in Dance Like a Man. Anoushka Shankar's career continues to unfold and we are likely to see many things from her in the years to follow. Anoushka spent a lot of her time in London and Delhi throughout her childhood. After that, she moved to California to finish high school. In Delhi on his birthday, which was celebrated at the age of 75 she made her debut as a sitar player in front of the audience just four years after her 9-year-old father. Anoushka gained numerous valuable experience when she accompanied her father when he toured the world. This included performing in Carnegie Hall and at Peter Gabriel's WOMAD festival and making recordings alongside George Harrison. Her musicianship and talent have been recognised by British Parliament as being among the top at Asian Arts.
